Born in New Mexico in 1979.
I lived in Salmon, ID in a teepee & cabin until 1.5 years old.
We moved to Tetonia in Teton Valley, ID in 1980.
I lived in Teton Valley, ID & Butte, MT through high school graduation in 1997, bouncing between parents and locations.
In Montana, our home was located 20 miles outside of Butte on the banks of Divide Creek. As a family of four, we lived together in two rooms, with no electricity and no running water... unless you wanted to run to the creek and get it.
The university of Montana, Missoula provided ample stomping ground for college, resulting in a BFA in Photography and a BA in French in 2002.
Today I’ve come full circle, living back in Tetonia, ID with my husband and daughter.
Mothering full-time, working part-time in Driggs, ID, and creating as much as I can on all fronts.
In 2005, an educational opportunity for Luke landed us in Juneau, AK for 2 years.
We loved it, but missed the freedom of roads and our family and friends below.
1999 brought this country girl to Grenoble, Fance for a semester and a few months more traveling throughout France & Europe.
After graduation, my fella and I took a 6 month sojourn to Seward, Alaska.
We returned to Missoula, to eke out a living and ski at Snowbowl.
In 2001, I chaperoned a group of 5 high school students on a 6 week trip to Nepal. We trekked from the end of the bus line in Jiri to Kalapatar (18,200 feet - near the base camp of Mount Everest) and back over the course of a month.
